Filter, Analyze, and Discover Token Activity with Trades by Volume (V3)

New API Trades – Transactions by Volume (V3) builds on Trades – Token (V3) API, adding volume-based filtering and an unlimited time range for deeper, more flexible analysis.

Filter, Analyze, and Discover Token Activity with Trades by Volume (V3)

Understanding what drives token movement requires more than just tracking transactions; it means knowing which trades actually matter. With Trades – Transactions by Volume (V3), Birdeye Data Services gives developers the ability to filter token trades by size, timeframe, and currency type to uncover meaningful activity on Solana.

This new version builds on Trades – Token (V3), adding volume-based filtering and an unlimited time range for deeper, more flexible analysis of token behavior and market dynamics.

What’s New

The Trades – Transactions by Volume (V3) API returns a list of trades for a specified token, now with full control over trade size and filtering criteria. You can define:

  • min_volume and max_volume to isolate trades within your desired range
  • volume_type to choose between USD or token amount
  • limit to query up to 500 trades per request

Unlike the previous version, this API supports unlimited time ranges, enabling both real-time and historical volume analysis at scale.

Why It Matters

Trade volume tells the real story behind market activity. Whether you are identifying whale movements, tracking trading momentum, or detecting sudden liquidity surges, Trades by Volume (V3) delivers the precision needed to focus on significant trades instead of noise.

With this endpoint, developers can:

  • Detect abnormal spikes in trading activity
  • Focus on large trades that move markets
  • Identify volume trends for token health and liquidity research

Start Building Today

Using it is simple: send a GET request to /defi/v3/trades/token-by-volume with your target token. Add min_volume and max_volume to set your trade range, choose volume_type as either usd or token_amount, and get up to 500 trades in one call — complete with full trade details and timestamps.
