New API Update: Smart Money – Token List Expands to EVM Chains

Birdeye Data has expanded the Smart Money – Token List API from Solana to 13 supported EVM networks. Developers can now discover and rank tokens based on smart money activity, trader style, and risk appetite across multiple chains through the same endpoint.

What’s New?

The Smart Money – Token List API now supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BSC, Optimism, Polygon, Base, zkSync, Monad, HyperEVM, Mantle, MegaETH, and Robinhood through the x-chain header.

Existing filters and sorting options remain available across supported chains:

  • interval: Analyze smart money activity over 1d, 7d, or 30d windows.
  • trader_style: Query all smart money activity or focus on risk_averse, risk_balancers, or trenchers.
  • sort_by: Rank tokens by net_flow, smart_traders_no, or market_cap.
  • sort_type: Order results using desc or asc.
  • offset / limit: Paginate through results with up to 20 tokens per request.
  • x-chain: Select Solana or one of the 13 supported EVM networks.

Each result provides token market context and smart money signals, including price, liquidity, market cap, net flow, smart trader count, trader style, volume, buy and sell volume, and price change percentage.

The endpoint is available on Starter, Premium, Business, and Enterprise packages.

Why Multi-Chain Smart Money Data Matters

Smart money activity can help developers understand where experienced onchain traders are allocating capital. Until now, the Smart Money – Token List API focused on Solana. Expanded EVM support makes it possible to apply the same discovery logic across a broader set of ecosystems.

Token terminals can surface smart money opportunities by chain. Research dashboards can compare net flow and smart trader participation across different time windows. Alerting systems can monitor tokens entering the rankings, while discovery products can segment results by trader style and risk appetite.

Because the same parameters work across supported chains, teams can extend an existing Solana integration to EVM networks by changing the x-chain header instead of building a separate ranking pipeline for every ecosystem.

Smart Money Token API Use Cases

  • Multi-chain token discovery: Find tokens attracting smart money on a selected network.
  • Smart money leaderboards: Rank tokens by net flow, smart trader count, or market cap.
  • Trader-style segmentation: Separate risk-averse traders, risk balancers, and trench-focused participants.
  • Time-window analysis: Compare smart money signals across 1d, 7d, and 30d intervals.
  • Chain-specific alerts: Monitor changes in smart money activity across supported EVM ecosystems.
