Birdeye Data has released the Token – Wallet Tags Tracker API, a new endpoint for tracking how tagged wallets trade a Solana token over time. Developers can analyze buy and sell activity from token developers, snipers, smart traders, and the token’s top holders through interval-based time series.
The endpoint turns tagged-wallet activity into structured data for launch analysis, monitoring dashboards, alerts, and post-launch research. Instead of reviewing isolated transactions, builders can compare how key wallet cohorts behave across each phase of a token’s lifecycle.
The Token – Wallet Tags Tracker endpoint uses GET /token/v1/wallet-tags-tracker and supports Solana tokens.
Provide a token mint address and a starting Unix timestamp to retrieve trading activity bucketed by interval. The response can include:
The endpoint supports the dev, sniper, and smart_trader tags. Use the tags parameter to return selected cohorts, include_tag_combinations=true to add exact tag combinations, and top_10_holder=true to include activity from the token’s top 10 holders.
The API supports second, minute, hour, daily, weekly, and monthly time buckets. This allows builders to move between high-resolution launch analysis and longer-term behavioral trends.
Required parameters include:
token_address: The Solana token mint address.from_time: The beginning of the query range as a Unix timestamp in seconds.Optional parameters include:
to_time: The end of the range. It defaults to the current time.interval: The time-series bucket size. It defaults to 1D.tags: A comma-separated filter for supported wallet tags.top_10_holder: Adds the top 10 holder series when set to true.include_tag_combinations: Adds exact tag-combination series when set to true.Maximum query ranges depend on the selected interval: second intervals support up to 30 days, minute intervals up to 60 days, hour intervals up to 90 days, and daily, weekly, or monthly intervals up to 365 days.
When more buckets are available, the response returns has_more and a next_from_time value that can be passed back as from_time to continue forward.
The response separates activity into three grouping views:
Each populated time bucket includes its opening timestamp, token and USD buy/sell volume, distinct wallet counts, and transaction counts. Buckets without activity are omitted.
Token activity can look very different depending on who is driving it. Aggregate volume alone does not show whether the developer is selling, snipers are rotating out, or smart traders are entering.
Tagged-wallet time series add behavioral context to token analysis. Builders can compare buy-side and sell-side activity across key cohorts, identify concentrated participation, and investigate how wallet behavior changes around launches, pumps, and exits.
Because tag series may overlap, exact tag combinations are especially useful for analytics models that need cohort totals without counting the same multi-tagged wallet more than once.
The API supports Solana and is available on Lite, Starter, Premium, Business, and Enterprise packages.
Some highly held or high-cost tokens, including wSOL, USDC, USDT, and BONK, are not supported. Buy and sell volumes are gross and leg-based rather than netted, and the transaction count fields represent wallet-transaction pairs rather than globally distinct transactions.
