Token – Tag Holdings Chart API: Track Solana Holder Tags Over Time

Birdeye Data has released the Token – Tag Holdings Chart API, a new endpoint for retrieving timestamped holder and holding data grouped by Solana wallet tag type. Developers can now track how tagged holder groups change over time for any Solana token.

What’s New?

The Token – Tag Holdings Chart endpoint gives developers a new way to analyze Solana token holder composition over time.

  • token_address: Query holder tag history for a specific Solana token mint address.
  • chart_type: Select chart intervals including 1d, 1h, and 1m.
  • tag_type: Filter by comma-separated holder tag types, such as bundler and sniper. If omitted, the API returns all supported tag types.
  • time_from / time_to: Define the query range using Unix timestamps in seconds.
  • x-chain: Uses the Solana chain header. This endpoint currently supports Solana only.
  • chart points: Return up to 100 timestamped chart points for each tag group.

Why Holder Tag Charts Matter

Holder composition is a key signal for token analytics, risk monitoring, and trader behavior dashboards. Teams can now chart how tagged wallet groups such as bundlers and snipers change their holdings over time without building separate holder classification and historical snapshot infrastructure.

This helps developers move beyond static holder counts. With time-series tag data, applications can monitor shifts in token ownership, analyze tagged-wallet behavior, and build richer dashboards for Solana token activity.
